Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of I.T. Planning & Development, the I.T. Project Manager 1 will partner with functional areas and business units across the organization to define, scope, implement and manage I.T. projects and solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in the development of business justifications for new project requests Must be comfortable interviewing stakeholders to capture and document detailed requirements into a formal business requirements document (BRD) Possess the confidence and skills to meet with company leadership and stakeholders Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are captured Technical knowledge to translate vague customer requirements and requests into actionable and well-defined technical requirements that can be acted on Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various levels of the organization Identify risks, concerns, and ambiguities discovered during the gathering of requirements Build data visualizations to convey project findings Provide input on design, test plans/scripts and user acceptance testing (UAT) plan to ensure requirements are met Ensure solutions are architected in accordance with standards and methodologies. Drive timelines and securing resources for projects Serve as the liaison between business units and service providers in order to coordinate enhancements, identify and mitigate risks and resolve project delivery issues Participate on teams as a technical subject matter expert for key business initiatives Ensure activities adhere to relevant policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance regulations Must be able to work on multiple projects with multiple teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies (waterfall and agile) and best practices Participate in special projects as required Participate in request for information (RFI) and/or request for proposal (RFP) processes Be a strong communicator in a virtual setting (via conference calls or web meetings) Strong organizational skills; this position will be working on multiple projects and with multiple customers concurrently Attend conferences and training to maintain and enhance project management, communication and personal skills Eagerness and ability to learn and work well in a team environment Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures Performs other duties and projects as assigned Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
Position Qualifications/Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology or related field; or appropriate years of experience and education to achieve same knowledge and experience level preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred but not required Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred but not required PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred but not required ITIL v4 certification preferred but not required
Previous Experience:
5+ years of related experience and/or training

Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
Travel:
25% Standard Core Workdays/Hours Monday to Friday 8:00 AM
