Director, IT Enterprise Application Solutions Position Available In DeKalb, Georgia

Job Description:

This position provides strategic direction and leadership forthe Enterprise Application Solutions function within GSOC SharedServices IT which supports GSOC, GTC, and OPC, ensuring customersatisfaction with the services provided. Drives the strategicplanning, execution, and management of our enterprise applicationsportfolio. This portfolio includes Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP), Financial/Budget, Work Management, Content Management, DataAnalytics, Custom Software Development, among other softwareapplication functions that enable the business to operate moreefficiently and effectively through the use of technology. Worksacross business areas to develop and implement an operational planfor the application portfolio that supports the goals and vision ofthe business who depend on Shared Services IT for technologysupport. Ensures staff compliance with all applicable laws,regulations, industry standards, corporate policies, guidelines andprocedures, including but not limited to, SOX, RUS, OSHA, NERC,FERC and ITS requirements. Promotes an environment of complianceand continuous improvement to meet the Corporation’s goals andobjectives.

Job Duties:

Provides direction and leadership in theperformance of Shared Services IT’s enterprise applicationportfolio which includes monitoring industry trends and research &development as well as developing and implementing policies,systems, standards, and work processes. Seeks to understand thecustomer’s business and their strategic initiatives; anticipatedtheir requirements. Provides the Shared Services IT direction forthe Enterprise Application solutions required to meet businessobjectives. Provide strategic direction in planning and deliveringall Enterprise Application Solutions initiatives. Employs vision toidentify areas where the department can best support thecorporation’s and customers’ business objectives. Ensures thedepartment’s ability to manage change based on evolving businessneeds. Inspires others to achieve individual, department, andcorporate objectives. Works with senior and executive managementacross OPC, GTC, and GSOC to understand how Enterprise ApplicationSolutions can help the business achieve their goals. Develops andmanages department plans and budgets. Responsible for the growthand development of the staff and team culture within the EnterpriseApplication Solutions group. Ensure that staff within theEnterprise Application Solutions team have strong goals, plans,growth, and accountability. Provides feedback to associatesregarding their work, skills, and development. Ensures that thedepartment develops and maintains a culture of service that isresponsive to business needs and changes in priorities. Representsthe Corporation’s interests in Enterprise Application Solutionsissues both internal and external to the Corporation, includingissues and negotiations involving

functionaldepartments, Members, contractors, vendors, and other utilities.

Creates, implements, and maintains an environment of compliance,transparency, accountability, communication, collaboration,service, and continuous improvement across the corporation as itrelates to Enterprise Application Solutions. Provides strategicsupport and assistance to Executive Management as requested.

Provides leadership and support during activation of MajorIncidents, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and the SecurityIncident Response and Recovery Plans.

Required Qualifications:

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, BusinessAdministration, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Experience :

12years of experience in Enterprise Applications, ApplicationDevelopment, Data Analytics, Business Analyst, IT, Technology, atleast 5 years of which in a management or leadership role.

Equivalent Experience :

Associate’s degree in Computer Science,Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field with atleast 18 years of experience with Enterprise Applications,Application Development, Data Analytics, Business Analyst, IT,Technology, at least 10 years of which in a management orleadership role.

Specialized Skills :

Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills. Proven ability to quickly adapt and leadcross-functional/organizational change with confidence.

Demonstrated ability to make decisions using a risk framework withincomplete information and a bias toward action. Excellent problemsolver coupled with a proven ability to lead groups involved infast paced, high-pressure environments.

Provides emergency coverage for technology issues. Responsive toafter hours calls, texts, messages, emails, etc. relating totechnology and business emergencies.
