The Senior Manager of ServiceNow leads a group of Application Developers in the Information Systems department and acts as the face of this team to internal customers. This individual sets team expectations on deliverables, communicates with internal clients, and identifies and solves any problems which may arise. The Software Manager is responsible for overseeing all strategic initiatives and for providing guidance on all project functions within the specific Information Systems team. Up to 10% travel required.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with business owners on needs related to Information Systems and translates them into analytics/reporting requirements and improved data management and delivery; tracks budgets and timelines throughout process. Leads cross-functional teams of developers and advocates on their behalf, removes roadblocks, and helps them navigate how to achieve quarterly goals while holding them accountable to project commitments and quality standards. Directly manages developers and ensures growth and career development opportunities are provided; serves as an expert in the Information Systems field and provides leadership and direction to team on industry best practices. Establishes and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and senior leadership throughout the company to communicate and guarantee the delivery of a high quality product. Discovers new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling. Establishes a balance between data needs and requirements for action so that the best product possible can be promised and effectively delivered to customers. Works with the teams of developers to plan and execute projects in a timely manner while delivering upon the customer’s expectations. Develops and refines metrics for project and individual performance; communicates said metrics to developers and motivates all team members towards buy-in and personal and group accountability on these goals. Works with Director of Information Systems to assess current processes, systems, and tools to update and ensure the most efficient project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Intelligence preferred 4-7 Years of experience with the ServiceNow platform with a keen understanding of ITSM and custom application development. 3+ years of people management experience. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred; ITSM Implementation Specialist and App Engine Developer certifications strongly preferred Excellent analytical, statistical and organizational skill with the ability to multitask and balance immediate and long/term priorities preferred Facilitation skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams preferred Effective oral and written communication Experience managing full SDLC cycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment with RaceTrac without regard to their race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
