Job Description

Director of Application Services ASPPB Tyrone, GA 30290 • Hybrid work Job Summary The Director of Application Services works with the Director of Mobility Operations to promote and achieve the purposes, goals and objectives of the ASPPB Mobility and Credentialing programs. These duties include, but are not limited to, coordination, organization, supervision and maintenance of the mobility and credentialing programs, communications with psychologists and member boards, and report generation. Principle Responsibilities Supervise the daily and staff development activities of the Credentialing and Mobility programs. Conduct reviews and audits of completed applications. Process application denials and appeals. Process applications as needed. Engage with jurisdictional Board staff when changes in application or verification requirements or processes need to occur. Assist with jurisdictional Board outreach to increase and/or maintain participation in current Credentialing and Mobility programs. Handle inquiries made through the, “Contact Us” forms regarding credentialing and mobility areas received from the ASPPB website and disburse as needed. Perform annual and semi-annual performance reviews for direct reports. Maintain area training manuals and SOP’s. Review and provide feedback to the ASPPB staff liaison regarding the PSY|PRO software vendor to identify process and software improvements. Manage invoicing for participating jurisdictions as required. Conduct annual program assessments and report outcomes. Process Voids and Refunds. Assist in the maintenance of the Frequently Asked Questions for the Credentialing and Mobility program. Prepare and present Credentialing and Mobility presentations as needed. Participate with and assist on committees, taskforces and workgroups as required. Crosstrain for all areas of Mobility. Other responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications College degree required. Previous administrative and/or customer service experience required. Prior managerial experience required. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft© Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in real-time and provide quality customer service with overall attention to detail and deadlines. Advanced organizational and time management skills. Dependable and adaptable to operate within a fast-paced work environment.
