Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional/Non-IT Project Manager with deep expertise in financial services and investment operations. This role focuses on business process and operational project management, specifically overseeing the implementation of a cloud-based Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platform and the transition from legacy systems to a modern data distribution solution. Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery and integration of a cloud-based IBOR data platform.
Oversee the transition from legacy investment operations platforms to a new data distribution system.
Manage complex middle-office operational processes within investment operations.
Coordinate effectively between internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful collaboration.
Own end-to-end project governance with a focus on business and operational transformation.
Schedule and facilitate meetings; manage documentation and notetaking.
Compile and update PowerPoint presentations on a semi-weekly basis.
Track project progress and update status slides after each sprint.
Manage joint project plans with vendors and internal teams.
Take ownership of deliverables with a high level of accountability. Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in financial services, particularly in brokerage and asset management.
Strong operational background or direct exposure to investment operations and the trade life cycle.
Proven ability to lead projects from initiation to completion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
Experience in software implementation projects (non-technical perspective acceptable).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification (preferred but not required).
Experience with stakeholder engagement and cross-functional team collaboration.
Familiarity with asset management, investment operations, and market participants.
