As a Program Manager, you will oversee projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily.

Responsibilities:

Work with internal stake holders and delivery teams (cross-functional teams) in developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, and assigning team members to specific tasks Should be able to WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) the project into tasks and subtasks, setting an appropriate schedule for the project deliverables, defining milestones, and highlighting the project dependencies along with risks Track roadblocks, solutions, target dates to resolution to help team Follow the escalation path whenever the team has impediments and help team to clear them for the timely delivery of the milestones Organization, follow-through, communication and ownership are a big part of this role Manage and coordinate team’s times, priorities (set by the Product team) and achieving their commitment with the help of Engineering managers and Scrum Masters Weekly status meeting with stakeholders and Program Manager to communicate the status, risks, challenges on the project Send weekly status reports to all internal stakeholders on projects status Ensure documentation to maintain a record of what has been done in the project, who have been involved in it and to ensure that the project satisfies all the project requirements Knowledge on JIRA, Share Point, and Confluence Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline). Proven experience as a Project Manager for at least 5 years in IT projects. Strong communication skills. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus. Candidate must be local to Atlanta or willing to relocate and come into office 3 days a week.
