Salesforce Description:

Manages three or more medium•to large-scale projectsfrom planning to completion by facilitating meetings with projectstakeholders. Develops, analyzes, and manages project estimation and executionplans, schedules, and resource forecasts. Manages project financials and provides input and justification forcosts and budget impacts. Monitors overall project performance against plan and makesadjustments as needed. Identifies and resolves issues. Provides insight and direction for the request for information andvendor request for proposal processes. Manages the work of multiple project teams by recommending orrequesting resources based on the alignment of team member skillsand project demands. Communicates a clear vision of project goals and objectives to theteam. Coordinates team activities to ensure project milestones areachieved. Lead and provide work direction to a project team to determineproject scope, devise and maintain a workable plan, and to developand deploy the solution in accordance with the needs of theproject. Provides performance feedback to team members as needed. Manages, controls, and mitigates risks across multiple projects byanalyzing and identifying trigger events. Manage the project change control process, status reporting,project estimating, monthly cost accounting and vendor invoiceprocessing. Establishes contingency plans, anticipates and manages dependenciesaffected by ongoing changes across projects, and recommends ways tomitigate future risks. Influences management to take action onthese recommendations. Manages the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse projectstakeholders by building and maintaining relationships withinternal customers, third party vendors, and senior management. Manage interaction between the customer, vendors, and the internalproject team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist toproduce positive project outcomes. Provides insight and recommendations to Program Managers to drivethe development of project goals, influence the prioritization ofdeliverables, and facilitate decisions necessary for projectdelivery. Adheres to enterprise project management practices by participatingin formal and informal training sessions. Tracks and reports key metrics as needed. Gathers, maintains, and communicates lessons learned and feedbackto team members, management, and the larger project managementcommunity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems,or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 6+ years of project management experience, including 8+ years of ITor related business experience. 3 to 5 years of experience working on projects involving theimplementation of project life cycle methodologies. Experience influencing and managing project teams without formaldirect reporting relationships. Experience managing SDLC projects using an iterative methodologypreferred. Comprehensive knowledge of PMI based project management competencyareas and methodologies and experience applying these methods tomanage successful projects. Analytical skills are required to effectively manage activitiesrelated to budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, process management,risk management, quality control and reporting. Strong oral and written communication skills and experienceleveraging these skills to interact with all levels ofmanagement. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. High-level understanding of IT infrastructure and applicationarchitectures desired. High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products,particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project. High-level of proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint.

Typical Training/Experience:

Typically requires BS/BA in a relateddiscipline. Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA andgenerally 5+ years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
