About the role COUNTRY Financial is seeking a dynamic experienced Technology Supervisor to join the Commercial & Agribusiness Solution Delivery team. As a Technology Supervisor, you will provide daily leadership and direction to a team of Developers, Technical Business Analysts, Testers and Project Manager, on/offshore contractors as well as partners with vendor software support team. The team provides support for production systems as well as delivering new capabilities. The Supervisor coordinates activities within the department and is responsible for customer service, work assignments and ensuring compliance with ITS standards, processes and Service Level Agreements. The Supervisor will also be an integral part of system modernization initiatives. All schedules are subject to change based on business need, but this position is open for both Hybrid and Remote candidates, based on location:

Hybrid:

For those residing within 50 miles of Bloomington, IL, and 20 miles of Alpharetta, GA or Minneapolis, MN. Our hybrid work model consists of 2 days per week remote and 3 days per week in the office.

Full Remote:

For those residing more than 50 miles but within 300 miles of Bloomington, IL. How does this role make an impact?

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas.

Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster. Do you have what we’re looking for?

Responsibilities include:

Utilizing proven presentation skills and effective delivery Working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious deadlines; Managing multiple priorities and having good situation awareness (i.e. understanding sense of urgency when required) Managing multiple teams (onshore, offshore, and/or nearshore) and projects of various sizes and scale with strong verbal and written communication skills Technical acumen to work closely with Architects, validating solution/design and provide guidance Team management, mentoring and leadership development; Provide leadership to the team in identifying & capturing metrics and plan for Continuous Improvement Developing teams, identifying skill gaps and plan for skill augmentation. Establish goals and evaluate the performance of the associates on the team Resource planning Involvement in the planning and coordination of all aspects of projects Managing stakeholder expectations from business and technology teams across the enterprise Preparation and update of the department budget Required Qualifications Experience leading and mentoring junior and senior engineers. Strong written and oral communication skills Proven ability to drive results across multiple projects at different phases of development/testing Proven ability to work within an Agile development life cycle (including a strong understanding of the interactions between engineers, analysts, and testers) Must be able to perform under pressure, multitask, prioritize and show appropriate sense of urgency. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in at least one programming language. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Bitbucket and GitLab Experience working with applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure). Experience with Commercial Lines Property/Casualty insurance products Knowledgeable of Guidewire’s PolicyCenter policy administration system Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies Experience working with Rally Experience managing projects #LI-Corp #

LI-Remote Base Pay Range:

$112,800

• 155,100 The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired.
