Project Manager – IT – Mastery Position Available In Hampden, Massachusetts

Job Title:

Project Manager – IT – Mastery 8 months contract Thisposition may be fully remote.

Duties:

Accountability Thisindividual is key to ensuring execution is monitored at team level,team maintains the factory model & provides escalation as needed.

Entrenched in details of the team. Can span between 3 &4 teams.

Execution & Delivery (Team Level) Daily monitoring of the team’s ormultiple team’s execution status and progress. This includes reviewof JIRA board for the team, checking comments on issues &escalating accordingly if blocked. Help each team that you manageto clear blockages and resolve issues. This could be throughescalation. Partner with the Delivery Lead and Tech Leads in theprocess/providing them insight into blocked work on the teamexecution. Run daily huddle, and ensure team is on schedule and isbuilding per the requirements / specification (design). Facilitate& prepare sprint review meetings with the team (determine who willdo team demoes, what work has been accomplished, has the project’sgoals been met). Outline and share risks/decisions and update onconfluence. In order to improve execution & manage the factorymodel, perform retros with the team; also ensure team is adheringto team agreements. Monitor slack and email throughout the day.

Manage dependencies with the entire API set of teams. Prepare forsprint review meetings by preparing materials and potentially teamslides – verifying data on the slides and making sure the APILeaders know all of the details about what is happening; beprepared for questions. Ability to ask technical questions to teammembers and to push back and ask more questions when items don’tappear to make sense. Validate responses from team members whenquestions and issues arise. Do this through escalation to TechLeader or Architects. Reporting Sprint Review Reporting. Update atthe beginning of each sprint, the sprint dashboard and the prodsupport dashboard.

Coaching:

Coach team on items like sprintdashboard – ensuring work is complete, subtasks, unplanned work.

Build hierarchy in Jira with Senior Scrum Master in USA. Coachingto ensure grooming improves. Jira set up and use.

Planning:

Work onsprint capacity updates based on the calendar. Be informed andinvolved in future requirements that need to be brought in Updateat the beg of each sprint, the sprint dashboard and the prodsupport dashboard. Update the one-page reports on week to prep forcurrent sprint updates. Skills Jira Expert. Scrum Expert. Excellentorganizational and PM Skills. Deep knowledge of Office tools Word,Excel, PowerPoint. Confluence, and G-Drive knowledgeable.

Organized/stay on top of things to ensure smooth execution ⊃porting Delivery Lead Strong communication skills with abilityto think and speak extemporaneously. Ability to give updatescomfortably in front of up to 50 people.
