Technical Project Manager (12-Month Contract | Hybrid in St. Louis) Are you a tech-savvy project leader ready to drive impactful software implementations from strategy to execution? Our client—a public sector powerhouse supporting regional infrastructure—is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a 12-month, full-time contract role based in St. Louis, MO . What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise IT/software projects Manage timelines, risk, and resources for multiple ongoing initiatives Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery Oversee project documentation (WBS, RACI, RAID, etc.) and ensure compliance with internal standards Provide technical insight related to infrastructure, system architecture, networking, cloud technologies, and Active Directory Drive collaboration and manage escalations with a clear, proactive communication style
Ideal Candidate Brings:
3+ years in IT project management Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies Hands-on experience with tools like Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, and ITSM Knowledge of Oracle database architecture preferred Strong organizational, leadership, and risk management skills Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s or equivalent experience preferred) Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams Exceptional documentation and stakeholder engagement abilities
