Junior IT Project Manager – Pharmaceutical 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Clayton, NC 27527 Junior IT Project Manager Our client is seeking a PM to support project delivery within our capital project team. This role reports to the PMO and works closely with Senior Project Managers to ensure successful execution of scope, schedule, and cost objectives. Ideal candidates will have a background in project management, engineering, or operations, and thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Support Senior Project Managers and PMO leadership in delivering assigned project scopes Coordinate and execute project deliverables within scope, schedule, quality, and cost targets Monitor and report on project KPIs, performance metrics, and progress updates Act as a liaison between technical teams, contractors, and stakeholders Communicate regularly with the PM and broader team on progress and challenges Assist in managing project documentation, risks, and change orders Work independently and collaboratively on various project phases Attend site visits and support field execution as required

Requirements:

Bachelor”s degree in IT/Engineering or a relevant field with 2+ years of IT project management experience Associate”s degree or technical/vocational training with 4+ years of IT project management experience Military service background with 2+ years of IT PM experience Demonstrated project coordination experience with relevant certifications/training Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industrial environments preferred Exposure to construction project sites or GMP-compliant settings is a plus
