About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager to join the Commercial Digital Capabilities team. This individual will lead delivery activities within a product area, partnering & collaborating across multiple product teams, bringing together Product, Design, and Technology teams and develop synergy through requirements, communicate timelines, escalations, and updates to deliver value to stakeholders. The individual will be able to quickly build relationships and understand impacts, dependencies, and risks to support multiple product & scrum teams effectively. Product Lifecycle Management:
Coordinate the entire product delivery lifecycle, from development to launch, ensuring all operational processes align with business goals and customer needs.
Product Management:
Demonstrate understanding of product or platform focus area, key initiatives, and capabilities to provide necessary support
Process Optimization:
Continuously analyze and improve product processes to drive efficiency, reduce operational bottlenecks, and enhance area performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, engineering, compliance, risk management, and customer service teams to streamline communication, resolve operational issues, and ensure successful product delivery
Effective Planning:
Facilitate and orchestrate ARTs. Ensure alignment, prioritization, and value delivery across teams through annual and quarterly planning. Coordinate PI planning and execution, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate impediments appropriately
Risk Management:
Identify and document key dependencies and gain commitments with supporting teams. Identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and gain alignment with partner teams. Understand testing strategy, manage defects per outlined defect management process for pre and postproduction validation. Understand enterprise policies, comply with banking regulations, partner with LRCC (Legal, Risk, Compliance & Controls)
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use data to monitor product performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders. Develop KPIs and regular reports to track progress and inform decision-making to support product, platform, and team health
Product Readiness:
Oversee the implementation of product support processes with readiness teams, ensuring that customer service teams are well-equipped to address customer inquiries and issues. Actively manage release readiness activities, track shifts and impacts and communicate effectively outward
Change Management:
Manage product changes, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration across all teams. Partner with teams to sync delivery calendars and socialize needs for potential regression testing across other areas. Comply with internal change management processes and track compliance
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure their services align with the bank’s product objectives and operational standards.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related field, preferably in the banking or financial services industryStrong understanding of digital banking products and servicesProven ability to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency with IT partners and key business stake holdersStrong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationExperience working with regulatory compliance in a financial institutionProblem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approachProject management skills with a focus on delivering results5+ years with the following: Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint (or similar)Advanced PPT & Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills at all levelsBasic knowledge or understanding of the following: Servers, APIs, CDNs, Browsers, Operating Systems, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, etc.
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
