Position Overview:
As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of various IT projects, with a focus on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, employee training, and the creation of operational work instructions. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure project goals align with business objectives, and deliver solutions that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and foster company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT projects, specifically focusing on ERP system implementations and upgrades. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Develop, implement, and refine work instructions to ensure the smooth execution of company processes. Provide in-person training to staff on ERP systems and other IT tools, ensuring all team members are proficient and confident in using new technologies. Manage project risks, resolve issues, and provide solutions to minimize disruption to operations. Maintain communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, reports, and ensuring expectations are managed effectively. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Document technical processes and project progress to create a reliable knowledge base for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and their integration with business processes. Proven experience in creating and delivering effective training sessions and documentation for both technical and non-technical users. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
