Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Assist the team in the creation of our AWS Delivery Model for Merchan
Work with our APSE, CIO and CTI teams to create and use this new delivery model for public cloud projects on AW
Includes tasks to track, standard durations, reporting, status, issues, risk and mitigations
Project management oversight for infrastructure service solution to deliver Pre Prod and Production environments
Management of WBS, Milestones, status reporting, risks/issue management and mitigation
Coordinate with design teams, build teams, application teams, Network Services for new technology solutions
Display an understanding of customer’s tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions
Manage project risk throughprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques
Actively manage the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
Establish basic scope control procedures
Develop documentation; monitor and report project status; assess the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gather input and feedback
Analyze and report project status and research information; monitor project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content
Effectively assist in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines
Respond to operational issues and RFI’s within defined areas of responsibility while progressing on project work
Collaborate andmunicate with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation
Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans

Requirements:

5 years plus experience in project management
Demonstrates experience delivering projects on AWS public cloud
Ability to work with Design and Delivery partners to build out and improve delivery process for AWS
Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
Desired skills: AWS Public Cloud delivery experience

Pay Range:

$53.38-$61.38
