PermanentThe Technical Delivery Manager provides technicaldelivery, direction, and oversight for IT application developmentinitiatives to design, develop, deploy, and sustain solutions thatmeet applicable business requirements while maintaining designintegrity and adhering to best practices in information technology.
This role leads the design, development, and implementation of bothnew and existing custom applications for the Finance & Treasuryarea, managing a fast-paced development team exposed to businessareas such as Securitization, Liquidity Management, andMortgage.
Job Requirements:
Develops and drives short and long-term technical strategy forthe overall IT project portfolio for the applicable businesssegment. May be responsible for a single technical project ofmedium to high complexity, a small technical program, or a group ofsmaller, unrelated technical projects, or break-fix items. Manages interdependencies between projects within and outsidethe scope of responsibility. Leverages extensive experience delivering IT solutions todevelop the technical strategy for the project/program. Participates in the development of project plans to ensureappropriate resources and time for solution design, development,and testing. Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks,escalating issues/risks when appropriate. Manages technical teams, which may include employee and/orvendor team members; informs the team of its progress; leads anddevelops staff members. Partners effectively with project management counterparts todevelop strong relationships with business clients and present aunified IT perspective/interface to the business. MUST have expert-level and deep-rooted experience with theJava/JEE stack. 5+ years of development experience working across a broad anddiverse technology stack. 1+ year of management experience required. Local candidates preferred.
