Job Description

Technical Program Manager

Role:

Technical Program Manager

Location:

Charlotte, NC (100% Onsite)

Duration:

Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management:

Plan, execute, and monitor multiple technical programs and projects across teams.
Define scope, goals, and deliverables while managing risks, dependencies, and constraints.
Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies for efficient execution.

Cloud & Platform Expertise:

Lead initiatives involving Microsoft Azure, ensuring best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance.
Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, cloud security, networking, and virtualization concepts. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow implementation.
Familiarity with ITIL/ ITSM and project management tools.
AZ-305 certification is required.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Stakeholder & Communication Management:

Act as a bridge between business, development, and operations teams.
Communicate project updates, risks, and resolutions effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
Work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to drive technical excellence

Process Improvement & Governance:

Define KPIs and metrics to track progress and success.
Establish and improve operational processes using ITIL best practices and automation through ServiceNow.
Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization on Azure

Risk & Compliance Management:

Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud and IT operations.
Requirements

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

11-15 years in IT with at least 5+ years in Technical Program Management or Project Management role for Azure-based projects.

Cloud Expertise:

Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, cloud security, networking, and virtualization concepts.

ServiceNow Expertise:

Familiarity with ITIL/ ITSM and project management tools.

Technical Understanding:

Experience with DevOps principles and tools in an Azure environment, including Azure DevOps , CI/CD pipelines , and automation frameworks.

Tools & Technologies:

Azure DevOps, ITIL frameworks, and relevant cloud & ITSM tools.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
