Essential Functions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with business leaders and staff member to delve into their needs and workflows.
Deliver IT support that drives regulatory and compliance successes.
Recommend cutting-edge hardware and software to propel business goals.
Research innovative shared solutions across departments.
Engage with customers to capture their workflows and document them meticulously.
Partner with the project team to craft and perfect new workflows.
Coordinate seamlessly with IT to align with standard technical requirements.
Ensure that new systems are brilliantly configured, and data transitions smoothly.
Develop and refine procedures while offering dynamic training sessions.
Lead small projects with finesse, managing budgets and timelines with ease. Track progress with precision.
Maintain an up-to date online repository of project documents.
Perform other duties as needed. Supervision Exercised This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table, with intermittent standing and walking. The employee uses equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. Work Environment Work typically takes place in an office environment. Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the job

Knowledge of:

Emerging trends in software and hardware technology Techniques for analyzing and documenting business requirements and needs. Business process design techniques Relevant state, federal and local laws Town and department(s) policies and procedures Various software to support application environments Independent research methods Analysis and report preparation Understanding data security and integrity Functional expertise in local government and departmental applications Product evaluation and project tracking methods.

Contracting with vendors Ability to:

Analyze and interpret complex technical data and data challenges of the client
Identify client’s strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement
Analyze information and make sound recommendations
Communicate effective orally and in writing
Establish effective working relationships with employees and customers.
Prioritize work and meet established guidelines.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technical staff and other town staff
Interview users and translate needs to application solutions
Solve problems and make sound decisions
Manage several projects at the same time
Ability to prepare technical reports, education, and analytics
Promote a culture of workplace safety

Support a culture of workplace safety Education Certification in Business Analysis or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience Three years in systems analysis, computer technology, or business systems process analysis. Licenses/Certifications A valid driver’s license issued by the state of NC and the availability of private transportation. Supplemental Information
