Job Description
IT Project Manager Trick Dog Technology Raleigh, NC 27601 • Hybrid work Trick Dog Technology is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a major infrastructure initiative for UNC Health in North Carolina. This role will focus on managing multiple technology upgrade projects, including a wireless network deployment, a network switch refresh, and an ISE (Identity Services Engine) implementation. The position is a 90-day contract to start, with the potential for an extension based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate project activities for the wireless rollout, switch refresh, and ISE projects across multiple UNC Health locations. Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors. Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Manage project documentation, reporting, and status updates to stakeholders. Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success. Facilitate change management processes as needed during the course of the project. Ensure alignment with UNC Health’s IT governance and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably with infrastructure, networking, or wireless projects. Proven experience managing wireless network deployments and/or network switch refreshes. Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is strongly preferred. PMP certification is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work onsite at UNC Health facilities as needed. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating across technical and non-technical teams.
Additional Details:
Travel within North Carolina may be required between different UNC Health sites. Local candidates preferred.
