This high-impact leadership role involves collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and selected vendors to analyze, plan, and implement innovative healthcare solutions. Essential Responsibilities Partner with Division of Public Health and IT teams to develop comprehensive project management, change management, risk management, rollout, and training plans Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and expenditure monitoring systems Create and maintain all required project management artifacts following State, DHHS, and PMBOK guidelines Manage project scope, resources, timelines, costs, quality, communication, and procurements to meet organizational goals Lead hands-on analysis of business and technical environments while authoring procurement documents Collaborate with vendors to manage contract deliverables and oversee activities to ensure milestone completion Establish project governance, conduct formal presentations, and coordinate with all stakeholders Serve as IT project liaison to business clients and ensure technical readiness during implementation Develop and maintain all required State CIO project documentation Required Qualifications Results-oriented professional with exceptional work ethic and proven IT Project Management expertise Demonstrated ability to lead effective, audience-tailored project meetings Proficiency in creating project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures using PM tools Experience with project management, agile, scrum, and kanban software tools Strategic planning skills with roadmap development understanding Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation development Proven experience collaborating with business/program partners across all organizational levels Ability to identify and resolve system or business process issues effectively Experience writing procurement documents (RFP/RFQ) and technical artifacts Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification; Agile/Scrum Master certification is a plus Experience managing legacy system upgrades and/or replacement projects Background collaborating with State and Local Government Public health programs experience Data conversion planning and management experience Cloud-based implementation project experience Why Join Us Lead transformative healthcare technology initiatives with statewide impact Work in a dynamic, high-demand environment with diverse stakeholders Opportunity to leverage cutting-edge project management methodologies Contribute to improving public health outcomes through technology innovation
