As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use yourtechnical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projectsfrom start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to planrequirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, andcommunicate clearly with cross-functional partners across thecompany. Youre equally comfortable explaining your teams analysesand recommendations to executives as you are discussing thetechnical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The ML,Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs,implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning,and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search,YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. The USbase salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role,level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determinedby work location and additional factors, including job-relatedskills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Implement communications standards across aportfolio of programs including executive and key partnercommunications. Establish a reliable and visible cadence forprogram reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and ResourceStewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources)whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains aremeasurable and the impact can be felt organization wide. Lead agovernance structure that drives effective executivedecision-making. Ensure governance structure effectively exposesand mitigates dependencies. Seek out and identify change managementopportunities that increase program velocity and which affectmultiple teams. Define/manage a program portfolio solving problemsthat target high business impact for the organization and productarea.
