Join Oxford Instruments as a Technical Project Manager! Are you an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer with apassion for technology and engineering? Are you excited aboutworking on innovative applications like Quantum Computing? We havethe perfect opportunity for you! As a Technical Project Manager within our New Product Introductionteam, you will play a crucial part in translating marketrequirements into viable products. This challenging yet rewardingposition will involve planning and managing the development of ourfuture products. In this pivotal role, you will take full responsibility for theentire product lifecycle, following the Development Gate Process.

You will engage in discussions about market requirements, evaluatetechnology options with the R D team, define productspecifications, address legislative compliance issues, andcollaborate with other department heads to facilitate thetransition to manufacturing. Your main objective will be to ensuretimely, cost-effective, and high-quality completion of a productbased on the Market Requirement Specification (MRS). To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in productor equipment design, preferably in a complex manufacturingenvironment. Project management experience is essential, along withstrong organizational and planning skills. Familiarity withmagnetics, cryogenic systems, and resource management would beadvantageous. Your enthusiasm for technology, ability to comprehendcomplex scientific instruments, and resilient nature willcontribute to your success. A relevant engineering degree and aproject management qualification would also be desirable.
