Technical Project Manager Manhattan Strategy Group United States, York, York Jun 12, 2025 Description Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager (PM) for an upcoming opportunity with the NY Department of Education. This position will be located near York/ Jersey and surrounding area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Manages the project plan, project schedule, status reports, budget estimates and risk management, and successful, timely delivery of the project.
Experience leading multi-million dollar project(s).
Applies Interacts with the client on project-related issues.
Responsible for independent work with users and various stakeholders.
Defines, documents, validates processes, and business rules to identify business and system functional requirements that meet the business objective.
Basic Qualifications BS or equivalent and 8 + years in information technology (IT), computer science, or another similar IT-focused discipline from an accredited college or university.
PMP Certification
5+ years’ experience supporting US federal agency or state projects (preferable with Department of Education)
At least two (2) years prior work experience supporting IT-specific government projects
Experience in large-scale design and implementation of projects.
The prior demonstrated ability to lead an Agile project team with accelerated deliverables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, MS Project, MS Visio, Smarsheet,Lucid Chart, MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet.
Ability to undergo fingerprinting and security clearances
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
