Leadership Full Job Description Overview:

Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities for a group or section. Responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs. Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements. Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates their work and prepares performance reports. Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods. Consults with personnel in other information systems sections to coordinate activities. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the applications systems and programming section. Provides leadership in achieving ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency in implementing and supporting applications to meet the business and clinical needs of Novant Health. Qualifications:
Education:

High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.

Experience:

Minimum four years demonstrated management or supervisory experience, required. Licensed clinical RN experience strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Industry certification in supported product line, project management or equivalent, preferred. Any EPIC certification strongly preferred.

Additional Skills Required:

Ability to effectively lead meetings for team, projects, business partners. Prioritize multiple responsibilities. Conflict resolution and management skills. Manage project plans. Maintain/manage backlog boards, enhancement requests, requests for improvement logs, incident logs. Demonstrates Competency in change readiness for the organization, being flexible as priorities change. Strong organizational skills. Organizes tasks, resources and coordinates activities among multiple disciplines. Effective delegation and decision making skills. Effective analytical, problem solving and diplomacy skills.

Additional Skills Preferred:

Promotes a collaborative work environment for all teams across the organization while building strong relationships and trust to support growth and optimal performance across teams. Ability to lead complex and large project initiatives working together with DPS and operational leadership to optimize project success. Strong understanding of DPS governance structure and relationships across clinical and operational departments. Understanding of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, supporting products, and integration points. Familiarity with and the ability to deploy various project management methodologies and tools to meet the complex needs of all DPS projects.
