Android Engineer (1099/W2)
Android Engineer – New York, Hybrid
The Skills You Need:
Proven experience in building Android applications
Proficiency in writing and maintaining clean, efficient code
Familiarity with build tools: Gradle, GitHub Actions, Circle CI
Understanding of continuous integration patterns
Strong skills in debugging and bug fixing
Knowledge of asynchronous coding patterns
Experience in performance analysis and optimization
Comfort working with legacy codebases
Ability to write unit and integration tests
Open-source contributions are a plus
Experience working in a globally distributed team
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Ability to integrate with custom backend services
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design for open-ended challenges
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
