Our Engage Engineering team collaborates closely with ProductManagement and Design to grow and strengthen the Web and mobile andexperiences for all of our audiences. Our powerful healthcarenavigation app includes personalized Provider matching, 24/7Telemedicine, Expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans, andmedical claims advocacy. We are looking for a Mobile Engineer tojoin our growing Engage team to help build the mobile experience ina fast, accessible, and intuitive way. You will meaningfullycontribute to the implementation and launch of our mobileapplications. You will closely partner with our Product and Designteams on application design, user experience, developer workflows,deployment strategies, and testing of the native mobileapplications.
About You:
You are excited about breaking ground on abrand new code base, being on a growing high performance team,collaborating on the standard of quality for mobile development,strategizing how we deliver impact for the business, and executingon the vision of world-class mobile applications. In your first 30days, you will: Gain an understanding of our infrastructure,architecture, and deployment workflows Come up to speed on businessimpact, product vision, and technology expectations for deliveringworld-class mobile applications Become a member of an Agile team,working closely with Product and Design to achieve foundationalfunctionality for the mobile application In your first 60 days, youwill: Participate in Engineering Demo Days where engineershighlight progress made in the last iteration Take part in peercode reviews and code pairing Deliver core features for our membersmobile experiences In your first 90 days, you will: Become a valuedresource on our team by helping other engineers troubleshootproblems, pair through code sessions, and wow your peers withcreative approaches to complex problems Actively participate in thehiring of a motivated, talented group of mobile engineersContribute to longer term strategy of creating frictionless andperformant mobile experiences for our growing member base
Responsibilities:
Build, test, and deploy user experiences in ourmobile application Measure and optimize the performance of themobile application at scale Collaborate with Product Managers andDesigners on planning and implementing frictionless userexperiences Work with the team to continue development of bestpractices Be self motivated with the ability to make smartdecisions and ask questions when necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in EE or CS, or relevant experience 3 years ofprofessional mobile development Command of Kotlin & Swift languagesExceptional technical communication skills Experience integratingand leveraging external services for purposes such as useranalytics, feature flagging, and authentication Solid understandingof mobile UI/UX best practices and standards Thorough understandingof RESTful API and application design Experience in our othertechnologies a bonus: GraphQL, JavaScript, React, ReactNative, AWSThe United States new hire base salary target ranges for thisfull-time position are:
Zone A:
$118,640•$167,580 equity benefits
Zone B:
$136,436•$192,720 equity benefits
Zone C:
$148,300•$209,480 equity benefits
Zone D:
$154,232•$217,850 equitybenefits This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for newhire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone.
