What You Will Do:
We’re looking for a Multimedia Specialist to join our faculty at BaseCamp305 to assist in developing an innovative curriculum designed to provide the optimal learning environment for students. This role will aid in the instruction and inspiration of students related to multimedia and technology coursework and activities.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing an innovative academic program for a diverse group of elementary students. Create videos to support a wide range of school activities including academic activities, projects, presentations, guest visitors and lectures, student green screen exercises and more. Aid in the creation of daily lesson plans and multimedia projects. Research, valuate and prepare photo, video, AR, VR or other supplemental components to assist teachers with lesson plans and projects. Evaluate student progress and program effectiveness specifically related to multimedia and technology to help ensure student goals are achieved and align with the school’s mission and objectives. Communicate regularly with families and school leadership regarding classroom activities and student progress as needed and under the direction of the lead teacher. Help teachers with daily items as requested including outdoor activities and supervision, snacks, meals, makerspace activities, projects, story, and relation times, etc. Assist in daily capture of photographs and videos of student activities; edit, organize, and post content to SeeSaw, Box, iCloud, OneDrive or other tools as needed. Create monthly photo and video summaries, annual yearbook, and annual school year video. Create school promotional materials in print, web, video, and other formats as requested. Additional project work and duties as requested.

What We Need from
You:
BS or AA degree in film, art, graphic design, web development or similar 1-3 years’ experience in marketing, multimedia, graphic design preferred Advance knowledge and experience with multimedia applications related to video editing, website development, photography, graphic design, PowerPoint and other marketing related functions and technology (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) Strong organizational skills with attention to details Experience using Microsoft Office expert user (PPT, Word, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint), knowledgeable about the latest office applications and gadgets and able to navigate new systems and platforms quickly. Clean, drug-free record and pass a background check. US citizen or authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Ability to commute daily to the Miami Beach area.
