Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting visually stunning publications? The Publication Design Manager will oversee the coordination, production, publication, and delivery of the National Resource Center for First-Year Experience and Students in Transition ( NRC ) and other assigned marketing and communication project designs as well as ensuring they are visually appealing, reader-friendly, and aligned with the University of South Carolina brand standards.
Primary Duties:
Manage the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, for a wide range of materials, including brochures, posters, banners, flyers, digital graphics, social media visuals, presentations, events, workshops, training, and more. Maintain high standards of design quality and consistency while identifying project needs and priorities based on creative briefs. Develop a comprehensive visual communication strategy that aligns with the NRC’s goals and target audience. Work independently and collaboratively to create a clever and innovative design approach that supports the NRC brand and adheres to digital accessibility design standards. Lead collaborative meetings with teams and clients.
