This person will be responsible for crafting the visual expression that supports the school’s strategic objectives. Essential Responsibilities Design, edit and deploy high-quality branded content across a wide variety of channels such as web, social, email, print, video displays and presentations, as well as creative for paid media campaigns and merchandise Adhere to basic graphic design principles, as well as the graphic design and brand standards for the school Support departments across the school on their graphic design needs for events, programs and communications Work collaboratively and communicate effectively to execute projects from concept to creation, while meeting deadlines and following procedures Maintain a library of brand files, images, and document assets Assist with photography, photo editing, photo archiving and art direction of photo shoots to help school accomplish its marketing and communications objectives Other Duties Provide staffing support for community events held during the day and some evenings, as needed

Qualifications Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, digital media or related field 2 years of experience as a graphic designer

Skills & Attributes:

Knowledge of and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Canva Excellent organizational skills Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities Be an agile team player who thrives in a collaborative team environment with a professional and joyful attitude. Ability to take direction, make adjustments, and adapt to feedback Enthusiastic, flexible, efficient, tech-savvy, collaborative, and joyful Photography, photo editing, motion graphics creation, and video editing, including experience with Adobe Premiere (preferred) Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds Ability to navigate stairs daily Must be able to clearly communicate verbally, including participating in extended conversations and presentations Additional Information This job description outlines key responsibilities and expectations but is not exhaustive.
