The Judge Group is currently seeking a Network Engineer with an active top secret clearance to support a classified customer in Huntsville, AL. For immediate consideration email your resume to cwhitebread@judge.com
Responsibilities:
Gather user network requirements using various methodologies to create technical documentation, system requirements documents, system security requirements documents, and system test plans.
Install, maintain, and evaluate network and communication systems.
Perform technical refreshes of routers, switches, and firewall devices at customer sites.
Deploy device configurations and verify their operability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving various protocols, topologies, and networking hardware.
Provide testing and pilot support for new network hardware and configuration deployments.
Conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies.
Utilize knowledge of internetworking, computer systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance current network designs and collaborate with team members to develop new designs.
Apply technical and business experience to improve processes and procedures for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.
Work independently and collaboratively to enhance network solutions and contribute to service improvements.
Provide excellent and professional customer service in all interactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant IT experience specializing in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers, and resolving LAN/WAN issues.
Experience with Cisco Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and Digital Network Administration (DNAC) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
Top Secret security clearance.
