Senior level CompTIA Security+ Full Job Description Gray Link Technologies (https://glt.us) is seeking a Network Security III (Boundary – N-JRSS) specialist to support the United States Air Force

program under the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS). The Network Security III role provides advanced support for enterprise boundary protection operations, cybersecurity service provider (CSSP) functions, and defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) across Air Force N-JRSS boundary environments. In this role, you will: Install, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, harden, maintain, and operate intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, load balancers, and web proxy appliances. Execute enterprise DOD boundary protection in accordance with DoD and AFNet security standards. Perform complex analytics on boundary protection systems to identify potential system compromise, data loss, or advanced persistent threats. Conduct DCO and DODIN operations to protect critical AFNet resources from internal and external cyber threats. Analyze and simulate network traffic within both virtual and physical lab environments to support problem resolution and configuration validation. Monitor system utilization and bandwidth; identify and escalate anomalies to Government engineering teams. Develop, execute, modify, or remove automation scripts to streamline boundary protection operations. Document workload activities per incident or change request for audit and investigation. Notify Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC) within 4 hours for all accountable item moves. Neatly bundle and conceal system or peripheral cabling following installations or repairs.
