Engineer II, Customer Engineering
POSITION PROFILE
The Engineer II, Customer Engineering is responsible for the planning, testing, implementation, and documentation of small to large projects and deployments for new and existing customer base. This position is ideal for a hands-on, well-rounded engineer who desires to be involved in all aspects of the IT field. The position requires strong resource and time management skills for projects, systems analysis, systems design, systems implementation, and systems support. Individual will need to be self-motivated, detail and process oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have solid problem solving/trouble-shooting abilities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cloud solutions to include O365, M365, and Azure
� - Designing, implementing, and trouble-shooting modern networks including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless.
� - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting virtualization environments
� - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting security solutions to include Trend Micro, SentinelOne, BullWall, Multifactor authentication
� - Designing, implementing, and trouble-shooting multi-site Active Directory 2012/2016/2019 environments.
� - Familiarity with implementing, and troubleshooting, on premise Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 environments.
� - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting on-premises networks with multiple WAN and VLAN configurations (including but not limited to routing, routing protocols, switching, internet, and overall network architecture).
� - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting backup solutions both on-site and remote
� - Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting storage area networks
� - Gathering and documenting complex technical information regarding new and existing customer environments
� - Implementation and troubleshooting of our standard management tools (i.e, Kaseya, Logic Monitor, and antivirus) for servers, network devices, and workstations
� - Establish a partnership with our customers and strive to deliver a positive experience & smooth transition

� - Work closely with customers on functional and end user acceptance testing.
� - Communicate with customers on managing changing project priorities and scope.
� - Keep abreast of latest technology and industry trends, recommend equipment and system enhancements, upgrades and/or replacements as necessary to meet the IT needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Experience, and Certifications)

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred
� - Minimum of 3
- 5 years related hands on work experience
� - Microsoft certifications to include but not limited to M365, Azure
� - MS-900 or equivalent experience required
� - AZ-900 or equivalent experience required
� - MS-101 or equivalent experience with willingness to obtain MS-900 Cert within 6
- 12 months of hire
� - AZ-104 or equivalent experience with willingness to obtain MS-900 Cert within 6
- 12 months of hire
� - Professional Networking Certifications preferred but not required
� - Work experience must include supporting local area network connected devices or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
� - Experience working directly with end-users
� - Experience working in ServiceNow Ticketing system is a plus
� - CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking hands-on experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Proficient with documentation of knowledge base articles/info
� - Managed Services experience is a plus
� - Proficient with M365 migrations
� - Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory 2012/2016/2019 and Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019
� - Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows 10 and 11)
� - Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
� - Proficient with Cisco, SonicWall, Meraki, and Ubiquity router, firewall, switch, and access point configuration and management
� - Knowledge of MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
� - Knowledge of routing and switching technology and terminology as well as the OSI model and how it applies to telecommunications
� - Ability to communicate both orally and in writing internally with all levels of management, outside vendors, field techs, and customers
� - Strong presentation skills
� - Previous experience with Service Now, Microsoft CRM, or other customer relationship management tools, a strong plus
� - Has a good technical understanding related to, but not limited to:
� - Hardware & Microsoft Operating Systems build and configuration
� - Networking (LAN)
� - Telephony (VoIP), Microsoft Teams Voice
� - Mobile telephony (Apple iOS, Windows and Android)
� - Remote Management Tools (remote fix, remote deployment) �

� - Willingness to work evenings and weekends, or travel, on rare occasions.
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- The Implementation Engineer is a full-time remotework from home position. The regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, day, or evening hours, with additional hours as needed.

� - Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity �

Some physical effort may occasionally be required to lift or move office equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
