Network Engineer responsible for installation,configuration, troubleshooting and support of network equipment in2 Dc locations as well as numerous remote clinics. Need to be ableto support remote network connections between sites, businesspartners and Optum Technologies. Some evening work required fornetwork changes when the clinics are closed. You’ll be rewarded andrecognized for your performance in an environment that willchallenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes tosucceed in your role as well as provide development for other rolesyou may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:
  • High SchoolDiploma/GED (or higher)
  • 5 years of experience with networkingprotocols and expertise in TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP and VLANs
  • 5 yearsof routing & switching experience configuring and maintaining Ciscorouters, switches and load balancers
  • 5 years of experience withwireless & LAN/WAN technologies and understanding of Wi-Fi, SD-WANand enterprise LAN/WAN setups
  • 5 years of experience withtroubleshooting & diagnostics and the ability to identify andresolve network performance issues
  • 3 years of experience withnetwork security and knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, intrusiondetection/prevention and encryption
  • 2 years of experience withnetwork hardware installation, rack and stack
  • Ability to worknights and weekends as part of on-call rotation
  • Ability to travelbetween clinical sites
  • Access to reliable transportation andvalid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’sor Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent
  • Currentindustry certifications such as CCNA, Network Certification
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
  • Experience with networkaccess controls e.g. Cisco ISE
  • Experience with cloud technologiesAzure and AWS
  • VoIP & Collaboration Tools:

    Experience managingCisco Unified Communications or Microsoft Teams Voice Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strongcommunication skills, with the ability to clearly articulatetechnical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability tothrive both independently and as part of a team in a dynamicenvironment The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600annually based on full-time employment.

Pay is based on severalfactors including but not limited to local labor markets,education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Groupcomplies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
