Hire Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and optimize LAN/Data Center/Cisco ACI fabrics to support scalable, high-performance data center operations. Test, analyze, perform corrective actions, and restore network equipment and services promptly to minimize application impact. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stabilize critical network outages. Plan and lead low-level design and implementation of data center network changes, ensuring infrastructure compliance with the latest codes and scaling to meet growing business needs. Serve as the highest level of escalation for network engineering troubleshooting. Perform Proof of Concepts, Chaos testing, and create, maintain, and update support documentation for the operations team. Collaborate with architects, operations, and security teams to ensure high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and compliance with financial industry standards. Develop scripts to implement network policies, interface policies, VRFs, EPGs, and bridge domains to support Cisco ACI/SDN deployments. Utilize automation, system tools, open-source solutions, observability, and ‘security first’ principles in daily work. Design network architecture diagrams using Visio and LucidCharts. Deliver project presentations to aid operations team upskilling. Conduct lab recreations using Cisco Modeling Labs, VIRL, GNS3, etc. Initiate high-level solution design approaches and guide the team to achieve key software delivery capabilities using automated, coded enterprise and observability. Research emerging technologies and solutions to resolve business problems and advocate for new solutions to be implemented in production. Pursue continuous professional education, training, and certification to foster innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Network/Data Center Engineering, DevOps, or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Datacenter Concepts/Platforms, including 2k and 9k. Proficient and independent working knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MP-BGP. Proficient and independent working knowledge of Spanning-Tree, HSRP, VRRP, tunneling protocols, spine-leaf architecture, and Cisco ACI. Experience with QoS operation and configuration. Basic understanding of routing and switching, IP/IPv6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, and load balancer services in data centers. Understanding of security devices like Palo Alto NGFWs and Cisco PIX. Experience deploying and troubleshooting data center technologies:

FEX, VDC, VPC, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN.

Lead network automation initiatives for large-scale deployment and validations. Experience scripting in Ansible, Python using netmiko/NAPALM/paramiko, VS Code, REST APIs, and Postman. Experience with Arista Switches, CloudVision, and AVDs is desirable.

Certifications:

CCNP Certification. CCIE Certification. Any Arista ACE Certification between L2 and L5.
