Yes This position provides the following support for the Armament Directorate, Armament Operations Division, AFLCMC/EBO, Eglin AFB, FL. The Armament Operations Division, AFLCMC/EBO, has responsibility for providing directorate support for information systems support, network administration and information assurance. The position shall knowledge and experience to support the information systems support, network administration and information assurance to support Armament Directorate programs involved with SAPs, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral security requirements.

  • Assist with the assessment, implementation, management, maintenance, accountability and administration of the Local Area Network (LAN), information systems, the electronic messaging service, crypto devices, telecommunications (phones, voice mail, videoconferencing, smart phones), information technology infrastructure, cabling and other customer-required information technology services;
  • Provide support necessary to assist with customer access to the Continuous Acquisition and Life-Cycle Support applications including but not limited to System Program Office Management Information System, Automated Business System Support, ConWrite, Contractor Performance Assessment Report System, Enhanced Technical Information System, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control Systems, and Defense Security Assistance Management System, and other future spiral developments or custom standardized Government software applications; • Assist organizations with the development of databases and spreadsheets for use in a program office, test wing, or lab, which includes design, implementation, and maintenance of those databases and spreadsheets; • Assist with deployment of baseline operating system configurations in physical and virtual environment to DoD assets including but not limited to servers, workstations, laptops; • Assist with development of briefings and setup of presentations and VTCs; • Assist with administering and maintaining classified and/or SAP network systems as applicable, and; • Provide IT project management across the directorate, coordinate with internal and external organizations for planning and tracking purposes, meet and work with other Government, military, and civilian agencies (including other Government Contractors) for project planning and facilitation of IM/IT requirements (the Contractor shall not represent the Government at such meetings), and prepare and brief appropriate agencies, organizations, and leadership as necessary.
  • Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security;
  • Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment;
  • Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems;
  • Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems, and;
  • Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
