Network Engineer Position Available In Orange, Florida

The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for a Network Engineer to work with our team in Orlando, FL. Primary Responsibilities Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture. Architect and support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software. Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security. Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches. Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions. Support Classified IT infrastructure Provide technical expertise to resolve networking events, as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle. Basic Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or MS with 3+ years or prior relevant experience. Must possess an active US Top Secret Clearance. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices. Able to troubleshoot enterprise applications such as DNS, DHCP, and E-mail. Experience with Cisco or Juniper Routing/Switching Desire to work in a diverse, dynamic, and demanding work environment, with the capability to work both independently and with internal/external teams. Strong written and verbal communications skills Preferred Qualifications Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified RedHat support experience.
