Network Engineer – Junior Position Available In Orange, Florida

The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for an entry-level Network Engineer to work in our Orlando, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity to get your career started by supporting the critical United States Air Force (USAF) ABMS Program as part of the Digital Infrastructure Network Manager (DINM) team. Primary Responsibilities. Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture. Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software. Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security. Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance. Under the guidance of Cyber Team members, conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches. Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions. Support Classified IT infrastructure Provide technical expertise to resolve networking events, as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle. Basic Qualifications. BS in a relevant technical discipline with less than 2 years of overall related experience, or MS in a relevant technical discipline. Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong desire for continual learning and skills development. Active Secret clearance with ability to be approved for Top Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications. Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified RedHat support experience.
