Job Description

Senior Network Architect
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Senior Network Architect to join our team in Seattle, WA OR Orlando, FL. This role is within the industry and will involve working closely with various networking, hosting, and cloud engineering and operational organizations to optimize our infrastructure, develop strategy, and implement new technologies.

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect specializing in the architecture, design, and implementation of

DNS-DHCP-IPAM

(DDI) platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment. This individual will join a leading Hosting Network Architecture Team to support, develop, and implement the future of global DDI services. The successful candidate will work closely with networking, hosting, and cloud engineering teams to optimize the current infrastructure, define strategy, evaluate new technologies, and drive implementation efforts.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, network design, and automation, with a demonstrated ability to work in large, multinational organizations. Excellent communication, an architecture-focused mindset, and self-starting abilities are critical to success in this role.

Location:
Primary:

Orlando, FL (Onsite 3 days/week).

Secondary:

Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation:

Evaluate, design, and implement DDI infrastructures (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) for large-scale environments.
Ensure reliability, security, and performance of DDI services.

Project Delivery and Automation:

Lead product development efforts across all phases, from concept to implementation.
Automate DDI processes to increase efficiency and minimize manual interventions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with network engineers, system administrators, and related IT professionals.
Present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years hands-on experience with the InfoBlox IPAM tool architecture, implementation, and operations.
5+ years in network architecture/engineering with experience designing and maintaining scalable LAN/WAN networks in critical production environments.
In-depth knowledge of

LAN/MAN/WAN

topologies, routing protocols, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, multicast, VRF, QoS, etc.
Preferred experience in IPv6 migration projects.
Experience in large enterprise/multi-national environments.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
Proven problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to manage initiatives end-to-end, including detailed planning, process management, and documentation.
Experience architecting world-class, large-scale networks that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Background in network automation (highly desirable).

Education Requirement:

4-year degree in a STEM field (or equivalent professional experience).

Top Skills Required:

Expertise with InfoBlox tools.
Experience with IPv6 migration.
Strong networking and automation knowledge (5-7 years).
Ability to adapt to changes without disrupting production environments.
