Network EngineerPosition Responsibilities:
Offer technical guidance on designingand implementing comprehensive network security solutions,utilizing a range of technologies, such as cloud platforms,firewalls, and zero trust architecture. Keep abreast of emergingtechnologies and effective practices in network security to provideaffordable, scalable solutions that align with businessrequirements. Evaluate, implement, and manage network toolsetsdesigned to monitoring, measure, and report network and systemperformance. Focus on leveraging advanced technologies to enhanceearly detection of potential issues, ensuring optimal operations.
Diagnose and address performance and scalability issues, providingclear, actionable recommendations to optimize systems. Deliverpractical guidance for protocol optimizations, traffic management,and network adjustments to enhance performance, scalability, andreliability. Develop and establish dependable networking solutionsfor voice, data, multimedia, and secure cloud applications. Providespecialized troubleshooting and escalation assistance to tackle andresolve intricate network and security challenges worldwide.
Conduct testing and validation of network configurations for newapplications and services, working with cross-functional teams toensure performance expectations are met. Mentor and support teammembers by helping them develop expertise in architectural andengineering best practices through guidance, training, and hands-onexperience. In accordance with corporate audit and compliancestrategies, ensure that network designs comply with regulatorystandards (e.g., FDA, NIST) and engage in IT risk managementprojects.
Network Engineer Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience inanalyzing, designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizingcomplex enterprise networks in global environments.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE,or equivalent are essential; additional certifications in cloudnetworking (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate) and zero trustsecurity frameworks are highly desirable.
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated expertise in resiliency, high-performance, redundancy,zero trust principles, and best practice architecture usingadvanced networking tools and protocols.
