Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a complex and diverse network environment that includes high-end routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies. This role requires in-depth knowledge of networking hardware and protocols, with hands-on experience in enterprise-grade network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
Implement and manage routing protocols and policies using:
Cisco Viptela SD-WAN
ASR and ISR Routers
Deploy and maintain core and access layer switches including:
Cisco Nexus
Cisco Catalyst
Cisco 6500 series
Configure and manage wireless infrastructure with:
Cisco Wireless Controllers
Cisco Access Points
Secure network environments by configuring and managing firewalls including:
Palo Alto Networks
Check Point
Cisco ASA
Monitor network health, implement best practices, and apply patches or updates to ensure uptime and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and support business initiatives.
Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
Proven experience with the following technologies:
Routing:
Viptela, Cisco
ASR, ISR
Routers
Switching:
Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Series, 6500
Wireless:
Cisco Wireless Controller & Access Points
Firewall:
Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA
CCNP or equivalent certification preferred; CCIE is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
