Engineers on the Network Engineering Operations (NE-OPS) team are responsible for providing operation support of all network systems. The NE-OPS team is also responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise networking monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, integration, and support of network systems Staging and deployment of network operating systems Work with Network Engineering teams on defining proper alerts and thresholds for network systems Work with Network Support on any network alerting or monitoring issues. Assist with vulnerability remediation Problem-determination and resolution Tier 3 support escalation and on-call rotation Project team participation New technology awareness, research, and system integration #LI-JB1 Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Network Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience Operations experience with Cisco networks in an enterprise environment Experience working with network monitoring systems Experience supporting a wide variety of networking components including Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers and Access Points Experience with network management platforms and products Preferred Qualifications CCNA Certification Solid understanding and working knowledge of enterprise networks Solid understanding and working knowledge of firewalls and next gen firewalls Experience with networking tools including NetMRI, Broadcom Spectrum/Performance Center, ServiceNow, and HP Network Automation Understanding of networking protocols Experience with Cisco Nexus devices Frequency of Pay Monthly Minimum Base Pay 5,585 Maximum Base Pay 8,385 Potential Annual Base Pay with Bonus 72,605 – 109,005 Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
