Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across enterprise-grade digital solutions. This role involves designing and implementing test automation frameworks, mentoring team members, and driving defect-free delivery through robust testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in automation, performance testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Quality Engineering (QE) team and oversee all QE deliverables.
Enforce testing best practices and guide the team in adopting automation-first and contract-first approaches.
Design and customize test automation frameworks based on project needs.
Define test strategies and lead their implementation across teams.
Guide team members on test planning, scripting, and execution for UI, API, and database testing.
Manage test environments and coordinate integration testing across components.
Lead defect management processes including triage, root cause analysis, and reporting.
Conduct performance testing using enterprise-level tools and analyze results.
Mentor team members on Agile/Scrum practices and version control concepts.
Participate in client meetings and project-wide reviews of requirements and architecture.
Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation for automated test suites.
Support accessibility and security testing initiatives.
Leverage Gen AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in quality engineering workflows. Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience designing and developing test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#.NET/SpecFlow.
4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and automation scripting in one or more languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python).
4+ years of experience testing REST or SOAP APIs and mocking complex HTTP calls.
2+ years of experience with messaging systems (AMQ, WMQ, Kafka).
4+ years of experience in end-to-end test automation and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
3+ years of experience writing and executing complex SQL queries.
2+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
1+ year of experience leveraging Gen AI tools in testing workflows.
Strong understanding of defect management, performance testing, and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in English. Preferred Qualifications
