Job Description
Sr Cloud Network Engineer (Alpharetta, GA): May telecommute. Manage converged communications infrastructure; Maintain office networks, incl. diagnostic/troubleshooting any network-related issues using automatic and manual monitoring; Perform architecture reviews and updates; Document all network and voice configurations; Record and track support incidents and requests, and test fixes to ensure that problems have been adequately resolved; Research and recommend software, hardware, and tools to meet business objectives; Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across a hybrid, cloud environment.
REQS:
Bachelors in Computer Science; Prior exp must include: 6 yrs of exp in planning and executing successful implementations of Fortinet products incl. Fortigate firewalls, Fortigate switches, FortiAP, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer; as a network engineer working in Azure; w/designing, deploying and managing the network infrastructure and svcs in Azure cloud, incl. Azure front door, application gateway, Virtual WAN, Express route and VPN gateways; in monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, availability and security issues in cloud and on-premises environments; w/configuring and optimizing network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments; in maintaining scalable services w/ health monitoring to enable disaster recovery design; in researching and evaluating new network technologies and trends in cloud and recommend appropriate solutions.
