  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • + Uses technical skills and provides guidance and direction in the development, implementation and maintenance of complex production information systems.

+ Conducts research in automation techniques to improve application performance, efficiency, and testing. + Determines and performs testing methodologies and techniques. + Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department. + Provides assistance in isolating and solving problems within application systems, interfaces, and middleware infrastructure. + Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group. + Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment. + Assists and advises subordinate personnel in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions. + Functions as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture. + Performs related responsibilities as required.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • + Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or equivalent related experience.

+ A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application systems/administration OR 7 years of experience without a degree. Prefer proficiency in at least two scripting languages used currently in production. Must be able to lead, engage and mentor others to achieve a very high level of application systems availability and integration. Must have good business skills. Must be able to lead problem solving efforts when mission critical systems are interrupted.
