Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largestintegrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellularnetworks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation andsupport of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5GPrivate Wireless Networks for Enterprise. We are searching for a skilled, driven, and innovative NetworkEngineer II to join our team based in Greenville, South Carolina.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Network Operationssupport team to optimize the performance of high-traffic networkinfrastructures. You will design and implement enterprise-level WANand LAN networks, as well as Private Wireless Networks (PWN), whilemaintaining system integrity and evaluating network performance. Asa team player, you’ll occasionally step into other roles to meetclient expectations. The ideal candidate is a proactiveself-starter who thrives on managing large-scale projects and takesfull ownership of their work. Key Responsibilities Network Monitoring & Maintenance Continuously monitor the performance, availability, and security oftraditional networks and DAS networks. Incident Management l Respond to network alarms, incidents, and outages, workingquickly to identify root causes and apply corrective actions. l Collaborate with other teams to restore services and implementtemporary and permanent solutions. Configuration & Troubleshooting Perform configuration changes and updates for routers, switches,firewalls, and other network hardware as necessary. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, andother network faults. Network Optimization Perform routine assessments of network performance, providingrecommendations for optimization. Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades,expansions, and capacity improvements. Security & Compliance Implementation of Security Protocols Technical Skills Strong understanding of IP networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,VPNs, and VLANs. Familiarity with SD-WAN, routing, and switching protocols (OSPF,BGP, MPLS, etc.). l Experience with network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) andtroubleshooting network security breaches. Experience working in a SOC or Regulatory controlledenvironment Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and externalvendors. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards networkmaintenance and optimization. Salary Range:
