Responsibilities:
Lead the direction of Network through the development of aninformation technology strategy that addresses overall firm’sinformation technology (IT) requirements Define best practice and roadmaps for network products orsolutions, as well as support the development of networkarchitecture Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to drive theproduct roadmaps for network, cloud, and WAN tools, by providingrequirements that help to map controls and patterns to productfeatures; work closely with the firm’s network and informationSecurity team, as well as put a roadmap of products/solutionstogether Develop business cases and conduct presentations to senior ITleadership of proposed network products, solutions, andstudies Stay abreast of the latest network information regulatoryrequirements, technologies, controls, practices, techniques, andthreats, as well as apply to network; participate in networkincident resolutions and root cause analysis where needed Conduct internal skills development activities for networkarchitecture and engineering teams on new technologies andsolutions driven by security and business requirements, byproviding mentoring and by conducting knowledge sharingsessions
Qualifications:
Minimum eight years of recent progressive experience designingand implementing data center network, WAN architecture, cloudstrategies, and reference architectures from business requirementsgathering to technology rollout oversight, including capacitymanagement, definition of scoring methodologies for technologyselection, integration of multiple tools and technicaldocumentation Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university ispreferred; Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCDP or CISSP certificationpreferred Deep understanding of TCP/IP and Data Center Routing andSwitching; expert knowledge of switching technologies vPC, v
