Key Responsibilities Build automation workflows around security data Integrate and action data from multiple sources (structured, semi-structured, APIs, SQL DBs) Support advanced threat and hunt teams with greenfield automation solutions Sanitize and cleanse data for downstream analysis Help define strategy and tooling for orchestration at scale (terabytes of data)
Technical Requirements:
Security Data Expertise :
Deep understanding of security data, especially web and network traffic
Automation Tools :
Open to any tools, but must justify choices and be open to learning better ones
Languages :
Python is the primary language used across the team
Cloud Platforms :
Azure and GCP are the main environments
Data Engineering :
Building automation/orchestration from scratch, including custom data lakes
Architecture Decisions :
Must be able to explain choices (e.g., Redis vs SQL)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
