What you can expect As part of our support engineering team, you’ll serve as an automation service point, working closely with DevOps, Engineering, Platform, and Technical Operations to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive automation. This is a hands-on role that combines deep technical problem-solving with cross-team collaboration and a focus on user experience. Responsibilities + Designing, deploying, and monitoring test automation for Zoom Products and services + Automating test the internal/external usage, integrated with third party API/services + Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to escalate, analyze, and monitor complex production issues + Building a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate region-based product service + Supporting test automation and deployment strategy to optimize service performance and ensure product quality What we’re looking for + Possess a BS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field + Be proficient in Python 3 language and familiar with popular Python libraries such as Requests, Flask, OpenCV, SQLAcademy, etc + Have knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) + Possess knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Hbase, and/or others + Develop a deep understanding of web technologies, encompassing HTML, JavaScript, VUE, HTTP, and backend programming for web applications. + Be skilled in implementing integrations to support different software features and functions + Demonstrate good design and coding skills, understanding object-oriented design principles and design patterns + Have knowledge of Java language and Spring framework as an added bonus + Be familiar with monitoring, debugging, and automating routine tasks + Possess knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies and cloud-based test automation solutions + Remote role – open to candidates based on the East Coast of the U.
