Responsibilities:
This person will provide general support for Internet/Intranet applications, network infrastructure, e-mail, Windows Servers, Windows applications, and other PC-related software. They will also assist field techs with hardware and software concerns. All duties should be performed in accordance withpany policy.
What You’ll Do
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Maintain field networking equipment to provide connections with field equipment
Basic Installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks for Windows and Linux systems using standard deployment and management methods
Perform standard operations in a Data Room/Data Center (racking, cabling, system maintenance)
Basic Installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks of the Mitel phone switch and MiCollab server
Maintain internet connections in the field
Maintain reasonable costs for I.S.P. connections
