Network Ops (Viptela/Catalyst) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Raleigh-Durham, NC We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer with strong SD-WAN experience . In this role, you’ll be focused on the activation, testing, and troubleshooting of Catalyst (formerly Viptela) SD-WAN solutions and Layer 1-3 services across enterprise networks. Key Responsibilities Perform service activations and configurations for SD-WAN, VPN, Ethernet, MPLS, DIA, and other L1-L3 network services. Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve post-activation issues. Process orders and manage service queues by SLAs and quality standards. Maintain network infrastructure documentation and perform updates with strong attention to detail. Conduct customer communications during activations and support escalations. Support and maintain accurate logs and service reports across systems. Participate in continuous improvement efforts, safety practices, and team collaboration. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship (must be able to obtain a government security clearance) 5+ years of experience in network operations or telecom provisioning roles. Hands-on experience with Catalyst SD-WAN (or Viptela) implementation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with WAN/LAN topologies , circuit design , and network hardware (routers, switches, CPEs). Experience with DS1, DS3, Optical, Ethernet, MPLS , and private network services. Proficient in troubleshooting and activation of Layer 1-3 services.
