Provide input, review & approve design& requirement specifications. Secure proper & efficientimplementation & qualification. Support production & otherstakeholders. Improve reliability of the process control systems tomeet current & projected customer, business & regulatoryrequirements through the following activities: activities: peoplefocus, equipment focus & standards “Gatekeeper.” RelationshipsManager, Automation Engineering. Essential Functions Leadtroubleshooting for automation-related downtime Develop & manageplans to maintain & improve process control systems Support &manage implementation of system & interfaces Support & managecorporate, product supply, DFP, site, stakeholders & departmentalinitiatives/projects Schedule & execute plans in coordination withproduction schedules Drive technical clarifications with suppliers& internal stakeholders Operate as automation lead or resource onprojects that involve process control systems Own self development& initiative to understand the site process control systems Adhereto the automation standards & establish new automation standardswhen necessary Support audits & inspections Function as a subjectmatter expert (SME) for assigned areas/technologies Coach & traincolleagues & stakeholders in relevant areas/develop trainingmaterial when necessary Utilize the appropriate cLEAN® tools whenrelevant Manage assignments within compliance with a qualitymindset that focuses on risk management & mitigation Ensure qualityof system adhere to company standards Adhere to the changemanagement standards Other accountabilities, as assigned PhysicalRequirements May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33pounds within the facility using various body positions. May berequired to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May requiredcorrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require colorvision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noiseenvironments with hearing protections. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in engineering/related field or equivalent combination ofexperience & education required Minimum five (5) years ofengineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility,&/or packaging systems required Experience troubleshootingautomation & control systems & batch processes preferred Experienceworking in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferredKnowledgeable in SCADA (i.e. iFix, Ignition, FactoryTalk), PLC &HMI (Rockwell/AB, Siemens, etc.), historian/data collections,Oracle, MS SQL preferred Programming & configuration of PCS or DCSsystems preferred Proven expertise (e.g. project management) inplanning/organization & project execution, follow-up & completionpreferred We commit to an inclusive recruitment process andequality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
